Recently retired teacher-librarian (teacher 11 years, librarian 9 years). Education- B.Ed, Brandon University. Became interested in writing once I started teaching. Began with Children’s Lit but have also explored adult fiction with an interest in speculative fiction. Currently living at Clear Lake, MB with my husband and daughter. I have had two stories published in two short story collections and a children’s story published in a local newspaper. Just recently, my children’s story Mommies Always Come Back was awarded Fifth Place in the 2024 Children’s/Young Adult Fiction category of the 93rd Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition.
