Annual General Meeting
Registration is required for attendance whether in-person or online – please specify when you register so that materials & refreshments can be prepared appropriately.
Those of you who have attended the AGM in the past, even on Zoom, know it’s a great opportunity to revisit old friends, chat with new members over coffee and sweets (even on Zoom), and generally have a stronger sense of being a member of the MWG.
And it’s even more fun if you are eligible to vote. To be eligible to vote, you must have renewed your membership or become a member 60 days in advance of the AGM (by August 20 this year).
Shortly after October 10, you will receive the Agenda, the slate of Board Directors to be approved and voted into office, Committee Reports, as well as the auditor’s report, and any changes to the Governance Manual that need to be ratified. We sincerely hope to see you there.
IMPORTANT to NOTE: All members are welcome to attend the AGM and express your opinions, whether you can vote or not.
There have been significant changes in the Governance Manual, as well as the statements of policy/governance/stewardship by our DEI Committee, and five new nominated Directors to complete our Executive, all of which we need to ratify at the meeting.
