For those romantics out there, please join us as we listen to poetry readings by Carmelo Militano. His latest book of poetry is ‘The Patina of Melancholy’, which explores the sensual relationship between two unnamed characters. The novel is at once a noir detective story, an exploration of art & memory and a passionate love story. Carmelo launched his novel at one of our Fall Book Launches.

About the Author:

Carmelo Militano is the author of three books of poetry and five books of prose. His poetry includes ‘Morning After You’, ‘The Stone Mason’s Notebook’, & ‘Archeologia Eros’. His prose works included a family memoir and Italian travelogue ‘The Fate of Olives’, the novella ‘Sebastiano’s Vine’, SS collection ‘Lost Aria’, hybrid book on the life & art of the Italian painter Amedeo Modigliani ‘Catching Desire’, and his latest novel ‘The Patina of Melancholy’.
