Benjamin Paulic

he / they

Inventive and occasionally neurotic, Benjamin Paulic is a writer and poet born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He explores themes of connection and identity, their experience growing up queer and neurodivergent, and laughter in the face of the apocalypse through biting poetry and offbeat mystery and coming-of-age stories.

Under the pen name Benjamin Wolfe, he has sold their handmade poetry zines at Arts in the Park and their school’s Met Maker Market and is working towards finding similar events in Winnipeg to share his writing. Their short story “Wish You Were Here” will also be included in the Manitoba Writer’s Guild’s upcoming youth anthology. Ben writes with the hope of reaching other youths facing the same difficulties and uncertainties he has, and assuring them they aren’t alone.

You can find them haunting the Exchange District of Winnipeg, where he attends the Exchange Met School. You can also find them wandering deep forests and old quarries, drifting along train tracks in the night, and worrying.
