After years (okay, actually decades) of writing everything from essays, to commercials, to a weekly newspaper column, to magazine articles and newsletters, it is now time for me to write for me and joining the Guild seemed to be the first step to make that transition happen. My background, as of late, has been the “concrete” world of construction and I am now so ready for the abstract world of the written word. I look forward to this new part of my journey and I am looking forward to discovering more about the Manitoba Writer’s Guild.
