The Manitoba Writers’ Guild (MWG) is a not-for-profit provincial arts service organization that represents professional and emerging writers in Manitoba.
We are a growing community of writers from all backgrounds writing in all genres. Our mission is to encourage, develop, promote and celebrate writers and writing, to support the freedom to write and to read, and to advocate for the well-being of writers.
Writing. It is a compulsion, an art, a craft, a livelihood. It expresses our thoughts, our sounds, our hopes, our humanity. It is meant to be read.

The aims and objectives of the Manitoba Writers’ Guild shall be to promote and advance the art of writing in the Province of Manitoba.
