New Memoir and Creative Non-Fiction Critique Circle

Effective February 2026, the Manitoba Writers’ Guild will expand its Critique Circle offerings with a new event focused on these two popular writing genres. Book Launch – Tony Nesca’s Poems and Photographs

Join us at ArtSpace on May 2 between 2PM and 4PM for an exciting visual presentation of Poems and Photographs by Tony Nesca. Set against images from Winnipeg and New York City, these poems confront labour, memory, desire, life and death – without polish or comfort.

Book Launch – Sandra Terra’s Raising Ripples

Join us at ArtSpace on May 10 between 2PM and 4PM for Sandra Terra’s presentation of Raising Ripples. Her second novel in the Change The World collection, this story deals with social issues including human trafficking, homelessness, poverty, and family loss without overwhelming the reader. Intended for teen readers, encouraging them to pay attention to the world around them.
