A membership with the Manitoba Writers’ Guild is the perfect way to connect with Manitoba’s writing community, meet other writers, and participate in a wide range of programs, workshops, and events of interest to writers both writers and readers.
Our members include poets and graphic novelists, journalists and non-fiction writers, bloggers and novelists, and all points in between and beyond. Many of our members are just embarking on their writing careers, while others are award-winning authors with extensive publication histories.
The Guild welcomes writers of all writing styles, levels, and experience.

Regular
$65.00Manitobans over the age of 19.

Youth
$10.00Youth members cannot vote at the Manitoba Writers’ Guild AGM, board, or committee meetings.

Student / Low Income
$30.00Manitobans over the age of 18 attending school or on fixed income.

Affiliate Member
$65.00Resides outside of Manitoba and over the age of 19. Affiliate members cannot vote at the Manitoba Writers’ Guild AGM, board, or committee meetings.
The Guild has a fixed membership year that runs from July 1 to June 30.
Unless otherwise noted, all annual memberships are valid from July 1st of the current year to June 30th of the following year.
