About the Author
Linda Trinh is a Vietnamese Canadian author who writes nonfiction and fiction for adults and children. Her award-winning early chapter book series, The Nguyen Kids, explores Vietnamese culture and identity with elements of the supernatural, spirituality, and social justice woven in.
Linda’s creative nonfiction and short fiction has appeared in anthologies and literary magazines such as Room, Prairie Fire, The Fiddlehead and This Magazine. She has been nominated for two National Magazine Awards. Her spiritual memoir will be published by Guernica Editions – MiroLand in 2025.
She has studied with published writers in writing programs and courses through such institutions as the Humber College, Athabasca College, the University of British Columbia, the Manitoba Writers’ Guild’s mentoring program and through the mentorship program through Diaspora Dialogues.
