Alyssa Gallano is a website manager and the youth program marketing specialist at the Manitoba Writers’ Guild, and an amateur writer.
Her writing journey began as personal journal entries which later evolved to unedited poetry and witty Twitter ramblings. In 2020, Alyssa completed her formal writing education at the Red River College Polytechnic Creative Communications program. Between those two years, she realized her writing potential and pursued a career in marketing. In 2022, Alyssa joined the Manitoba Writers’ Guild to better nurture her craft by connecting with Manitoba’s storied writing community.
Outside of the Guild, Alyssa contributes her skills to the marketing department to the Children’s Hospital of Manitoba.
