she / her

I am a writer, community educator and collage artist. I have been writing for decades but, since retiring from full-time work in 2021, am now able to devote both time and energy to a rewarding writing life. Short-form creative nonfiction is what I focus on, though I occasionally try my hand at micro-form fiction (ex. 50-word stories). I like to read books, but I have no serious intention to write one myself. I’d love to connect with others who write CNF essays, particularly in the line of memoir or life writing. I co-teach writing classes, sometimes in McNally’s community classroom, sometimes over Zoom. I have been writing my blog, Five Years a Writer, since 2018.
