An English student at the U of M, Angela Almeida always had a passion for reading, writing, and revising. Initially pursuing psychology, she soon realized that her main goal would be to become an editor. She has a special place in her heart for all kinds of fiction and loves to step outside of her comfort zone into other genres. She spends most of her time reading, journaling, making coffee, playing animal crossing, and making cards.
Angela never thought that reading and revising would be something she would come to love so much, but now she revises her friends’ papers, and loves to critique her own work. She is currently working on a book club with her friends to try and expand into different genres as well as to challenge the amount of books she can read. She has also recently become a new volunteer with the Manitoba Writers’ Guild in an effort to help grow and branch out as an individual and in the community.
