Leslie Wiens

Leslie Wiens is a Canadian author, having started his writing career just prior to becoming a septuagenarian. He spent 10 years in the computer industry, owned art galleries for over a decade (split into two five-year ventures), and had various short-term jobs such as retail blue-jean store manager, travelling wholesale spice sales rep, and window washer. He then spent 30 years in the financial world as a financial planner. Having taken Creative Writing at the University of Winnipeg, he started writing in the early 1990s, but shelved the activity while managing his financial-planning business. He lives a peripatetic life, with time in Winnipeg, Vancouver, Northern Ontario, and world travelling.
