Instagram Samantha (S.M.) Beiko is a queer Winnipeg-based award-winning author of young adult fantasy, graphic novelist, and professional editor of both fiction and original comics. Her work is published by ECW Press Ltd., and Renegade Arts Entertainment Ltd., while some projects, like her Aurora award-winning graphic novel, Krampus is My Boyfriend!, are self-published. Her current series is The Brindlewatch Quintet, with the next installment, The Door in Lake Mallion, out in October 2024.
Beiko is also the artistic director for Winnipeg’s Prairie Comics Festival.
